Description

Original Acrylic Oil Painting on an old 30″ Hand Saw.  I got this picture last fall when I was visiting a local fish hatchery and took some movies of the spawning salmon on the river with my underwater camera.  This fish has spawned and will soon die in the same river it was born 4 years ago.  Come spring, thousands of fry will come up out of the gravel and they will grow, leave the river and go to the sea, then come back to spawn.  It is amazing!
